The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) played host to an evening of celebration and Academic Excellence as The Apostolic Church Students’ Fellowship of Nigeria (TACSFON) organised an Award Ceremony to honour the Best-Graduating student and First-Class Graduates.

Held at the Anthony Anenih Lecture Theatre, the event attracted dignitaries from within and beyond the University Community, including the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde; the Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi; and other distinguished guests.

With students, lecturers, and parents in attendance, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and admiration for the honourees. A key moment of the night was the presentation of awards, with the Vice-Chancellor personally honouring outstanding students.

The highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of Mr. Solomon Senibi from the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics (ABG), College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM), as the Best Graduating Student for the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Mr. Senibi expressed appreciation to God, his parents, and the University Management for their support and encouragement.

In his remarks, Prof. Kehinde congratulated the Awardees, urging them to remain committed to excellence in their future endeavours. He also commended TACSFON for its efforts in recognising and celebrating academic brilliance, emphasising the importance of such initiatives in motivating students.
