The Department of Home Science and Management (HSM), College of Food Science and Human Ecology (COLFHEC), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is set to host its Exhibition and Fashion Show for its final year students specialising in Clothing and Textiles.
Themed “Heritage in Power: A Fusion of Tradition and Elegance,” the event would hold on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the NASU Building, by 10:00 a.m.
The exhibition would showcase the student’s original designs, blending Nigerian traditions with modern elegance in a display of creativity and talent.
The show was aimed at highlighting the intersection of heritage and contemporary fashion from hand-crafted pieces to high-fashion outfits. Beyond a simple visual display, it would also serve as a platform for students to connect with the public, attract potential clients, and make a mark in the fashion industry.
All members of the University Community and the general public are cordially invited to attend and show their support for the emerging fashion designers of tomorrow.
