The Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Chapter, today, March 19, 2025, held its 9th Welfare Scheme & Annual General Meeting (AGM). The well-attended gathering provided a platform for members to discuss pressing welfare issues and reaffirm their commitment to improving the well-being of Non-Teaching staff.
In his address, the Chairman of NASU-FUNAAB, Comrade Samson Edivri, highlighted the Union’s achievements and stressed the importance of unity among members. He reiterated that “our collective strength is our greatest asset,” urging members to remain united in advancing their shared interests on campus.

Delivering a Goodwill Message on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, the Deputy Registrar I, Vice-Chancellor’s Office, Mr. Moses Ayanda, commended NASU’s leadership and members for their dedication to staff welfare. He acknowledged the crucial role of Non-Teaching staff in the smooth operation of the University and congratulated the Union for organising the event.
Similarly, the Ogun State Chairman of NASU, Comrade Rasaq John, lauded the efforts of the Union executives and members. He described the NASU welfare scheme as a testament to the Union’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of its members and encouraged them to sustain the initiative.

Present at the event were the representative of the Registrar, Mr. Adewale Ojoye; Bursar, Mr. Olukayode Osinuga; Managing Director, UNAAB Microfinance Bank (UMFB), Mr. Adebiyi Ayoade; former NASU-FUNAAB Chairman, Com. Isiaq Odunjo, as well as several NASU leaders both within and outside of the University.
